Area and Perimeter of Standard shapes:-

Rectangle:
Area = length x breadth (cm/m)2
Perimeter = 2( length + breadth) (cm /m)

Square:
Area = side 2 (cm/m)2
Perimeter = 4 x side (cm /m)

Triangle:
Area = ½ x Base x Height (cm/m)2
Perimeter = sum of all the three sides (cm /m)

Parallelogram:
Area = base x perpendicular or height (cm/m)2
Perimeter = sum of all the sides (cm /m)
